Maggie Bence POSSU #54
In the last issue of The Rookery Report, we announced that we were embarking on a ‘one page’ exhibit to be put on our POSSU website.
Maggie Bence (POSSU # 54) took advantage of the solicitation and is the first member to submit a one-page exhibit for the website.
Maggie and her husband Steve reside in Warwickshire, England and she has collected ‘penguin stuff’ for four decades. In addition to her ’stuff’ she takes plenty of time to collect penguins on stamps, postcards, covers, phone cards, trading cards and other things that strike her fancy.
Maggie has taken to topical collecting in a big way, and she now has a terrific collection of not only animals… foxes, squirrels, woodpeckers and hedgehogs, but a very nice collection of Sir Ernest Shackleton stamps.
Congratulations Maggie on being our very first member to take advantage of having your one-page exhibit on our website. We are hopeful that others will follow your lead.
Participation is open to all Penguins on Stamps Study Unit (POSSU) members.
